Bangsamoro Youth boosts community education and engagement on COVID-19

Lanao del Sur – The Coalition of Moro Youth Movement (CMYM) conducted a community education and engagement campaign to fight misinformation on COVID-19 in the Bangsamoro Region. OPAPP, UNDP continue in supporting Peace Process in Mindanao amid COVID-19 Pandemic

Cotabao City - The Joint Peace and Security Teams (JPST) in Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) received three-month worth of rice provision from the Office of the Presidential Adviser on Peace Process (OPAPP) and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Beyond Recovery: Towards 2030

UNDP positioned itself early to support the Government to effectively manage the crisis and lay the foundations for an effective recovery. Our investment focused on: strengthening the capture and analysis of key data to inform the health response and better understand the multi-dimensional impact of the crisis; rapidly demonstrating the viability of digital platforms like mobile wallets to expedite payments to the poorest of the poor; and establishing crisis coordination and management structures in BARMM.
